Some of you have probably heard of the social millionaire. I heard of this site by way of John Chow when he did a review of the site. I happened to have $2 in my paypal account so I decided that this was a good investment of my vast paypal fortune (I know the title says $1 and that’s because even though the Canadian dollar is above the USD it wouldn’t let me buy $2 worth of links or because there was a fee, I don’t know). I think that the site is a good idea but I’m not banking on him making the whole million because the idea has been done before. He has basically copied The Million Dollar Homepage idea of selling small amounts of advertising for a price that people would care less about paying, ergo lots of people buy ads and the owner of the site in turn gets a lot of money. Why this site will probably make quite a bit of money is because of people like me, who happened to have a couple dollars in their paypal account and think “why not?”. Do I expect to get a return on my money? Honestly, I don’t really care. There are parts of me that feel attached to that $1 and would like to see it make its way back to me, but there is also the part of me that says, “take your stupid dollar and run, I didn’t want it anyway.” I will keep watching this site just because I am interested in whether or not he will actually make it to a million but I would put $1 on no.

Thats odd because I entered my links right after I bought them. It automatically took me to a page where I entered my links and it was done.

Mike - we’ve already emailed you and have received no response. We’re now starting to think you are trying to damage our websites reputation since you keep posting negative comments on all these other websites.
Thanks for the write up Mark. Hopefully you see some sort of return from it ![]()

From the beginning your blog seemed pretty dull for me. But now it keeps getting better. THIS post is just AWESOME!

We bought 2 links last week and we still have not gotten any directions on how to submit our links. The funds have cleared Paypal, we’ve emailed Pat Hankinson at The Social Millionaire, and nothing! I’m calling it a flop myself. I think he needs to come up with a MUCH better twist if he plans to make the full mill.
