Something I love (along with brown paper packages and warm woolen mittens) is cars, especially fast ones. I get giddy just thinking about fast cars. Unfortunately for me, the fastest car I have ever been in (I didn’t even drive it) is a friends 1993 Ford Mustang GT. I don’t know what has been done to it other than a tiny upgrade called a supercharger and I have also been told that it makes around 400hp. Since I worked for a mechanic for three summers while in high school I saw my fair share of cars. The shop I worked at did everything from bodywork to rebuilding engines and worked on everything from tractors to everyday cars to semi trucks. At the shop I once got to drive a 93 Corvette which I was told to be careful with because it was worth more than me, my boss then corrected himself (he’s a Ford guy) and said that it wasn’t actually worth more than me….it would just cost more to replace. So that was probably the fastest car I have ever actually driven, but that is not even in the same league, let alone sport, as the greatest car ever built. I bet you can guess that I am talking about the Bugatti Veyron. I know, I know it’s no longer the worlds fastest car but it is still by far best for so many reasons I don’t even want to write a list that long. If you didn’t know the new fastest car is called the SSC Ultimate Aero. It is about 3 MPH faster but what does that prove? That means that I can walk faster than the difference between the Aero and the Veyron. The Veyron is so much more than just a fast car though. Read my post on the Veyron after you watch this video.
